DPMS 338 Federal, Mako GL-Shock stock, Timeny trigger, Bushnell 6x24 scope. Great rifle for feral hogs here in Texas.

Lt Manson asked Cpt Becton if he thought they'd have to abandon ship, to which he snapped, "No! I'll never abandon ship as long as a gun will fire."

I found a micro t-1 for cheap, and I want to set up something similar on my lr-308. That thing looks sweet. |

Very nice. I'm planning on painting mine all FDE as well. I will probably do the barrel and everything, since I have it all here in parts ready to put together. What paint did you use on yours? I am planning on using Alumahyde II Coyote tan, which appears to be a real good match for FDE.
I used duracoat's Magpul FDE, the stock is the actual FDE straight from Magpul so you can see the colors arent 100% perfect but they are damn close

This landing is gonna get pretty interesting.
Define "interesting". Oh God, oh God, we're all going to die? Question 1: you ever drink alone? Only in the morning.... Question....3..... |
Not completed yet as I am still waiting for a barrel from Krieger. However, this is a mock up of mine. I'm pretty happy with it but can't freakin wait to shoot it! Started out as a stripped DPMS receiver set.

Nice, what length/type of barrel is that?

Cool, my rifle (post above yours) started out as an Oracle. I went with a Criterion 18.5" lightweight barrel though, and a 12" handguard so I could have the front sight attached to the barrel.

Crappy cell pic. DPMS Oracle, 16" that I picked up last Saturday. Broke the barrel in last Sunday, ended up running 185 rounds through her
Just installed the Samson 13.8 rail, and A2 stock. The Samson rail required minor fitting as I had to file the anti-rotating pins slightly. Loving the Samson! Temporary Nikon Monarch 4-16x44 from my bolt action until I decide what scope to use. Leaning towards the Leupold VX-R 3-9x40 (30mm) or perhaps the Vortex Viper 3-9x40. New Pictures " /> " /> " /> |

What gas block did you use under that Samson rail? Im wanting to put one on my lr-308. Ive never installed one before just seems any amount of torque even from the bipod and firing would cause it to move around???
The gas block is a regular .750 low profile with set screws that I had laying around from a AR15 build, same gas blocks.
Once the Samson is installed its rock solid! On the DPMS you have to slightly file the anti rotation pins, other than that it slides right on. |

Cheap but solid. |
