Mike at TSC machine dimpled the barrel to install the gas block correctly, installed the rail, and timed the gemtech flash hider for me today. Can't wait to test this thing out as I've had that suppressor since November 2014 and haven't shot it yet.

AR-10B specs:

Armalite lower with their lower parts kit, LMT ambi safety, timney trigger.

Armalite carbine buffer with h3 installed, LMT sopmod stock(this gun was originally built years ago before the b5's were out).

Armalite 16 inch upper with bcm charging handle, new armalite rail and low prifile gas block.

Gem-tech HVT with its mount.

It had the standard carbine hand guards on it before. It served me well with a few thousand rounds through it.

Postman brought me a new optic this morning, I think my ECC is complete now. Just waiting on my KAC 7.62 QDC can purchase to go through. Here's the run-down on the gun:

SR25 ECC with E2 bolt
KAC MAMS brake
NF 2.5-10x24 Mil/Mil
NF 30mm Ultralight mount with 20MOA built in
Aimpoint T2 w/ KAC offset mount
KAC 45 degree BUIS
Surefire M600U w/ Haley Strategic mount
Magpul MIAD and STR

The 45 degree sights might be overkill. I was worried that the standard irons wouldn't clear the scope when mounted, so I zeroed the 45's last week before the scope showed up. Looking at it now, I think the standard irons would clear, and I might re-install them later. The 45's do co-witness with the T2 though, which is kind of neat

Took the rifle out a few hours ago to zero the new scope, this rifle is a hammer. That's 3 rounds of LC M118LR at 100 yards.

And finally, my beauceron puppy wasn't happy that I wasn't taking pictures of her, so I let her give me her best pose. Say hi to Legacy.

Say hello to the grandaddy of your AR10.

Below is a Transferable Portuguese AR10 MG
made in the Netherlands in 1961.  It is unfired
and stored in its unmarked box from Interarmco.
Interarmco paid Artillerie Inrichtingen $119 for this_rifle
bought in a lot of ten.  Also shown is a fragment
of the original import paperwork from 1961.  The
rifle is accompanied by the original magazine,
bayonet, grenade sight, blank fire adapter and
magazine loader.

Documentation of the rifle includes the Interarmco-AI
requisition letters, shipping bill and US import permit.

You sir are the winner...no need to continue this thread. Mods, go ahead and lock it down.

May I ask for more background on this rifle and how you got your hands on it?

Well, it is a B-series upper that was re-machined and converted into an A, re-anodized, and mated to a new A-series lower.  So I cheated.  ...I was wondering if any one was going to pick up on that.

I sort of suspected that. Damn if that ain`t a pretty rifle! It`s a shame ArmaLite doesn`t have a prescence here anymore. I know they`re more into 3 Gun models. That would probably sell well as a limited run.

My Armalite wearing her three uppers:

Factory .308.  I had MOE handguard on this but stole it for the Raptor.  Will probably get another, unless I do another JL Billet, I really like my first one. It had the eotech, it may get another with a magnifier or a scope.

.22-250 varmint slayer.  27" 9 twist Schnieder barrel, 17.2" JL Billet handguard, 17" gas system, 3.5-15x56 Niteforce Varminter.

.45 Raptor, southern Michigan deer rifle.
