Prefer rifle gas I'm looking at Faxon Gunner, Ballistic Advantage fluted, or a Larue-other options in that price range?  Input on these 3?

Faxon gunner. Price and weight.

I opted for the Larue Stealth. Looking at the MOA all day challenge there was an overwhelming amount of LT barrels. Add to that the price when there were on sale and it was a no brainer.

Take a look at Ballistic Advantage great prices and sub MOA guarantee.

After all my research and looking around I jumped own one this past week and will report back once my build is complete.  So far all that I have heard is positive with them.

Good luck.

I have a Faxon GUNNER, in 18" great real accurate barrel. LaRue's rifle gas system barrel is 20" only.

OdinWorks makes some nice stainless barrels, MOA guaranteed also, I have one will print about .6" groups with handloads.

Green Mountain also makes some great barrels for the money.

Another avenue often overlooked is Lothar Walther

Another vote for the Faxon 18" GUNNER.

I have one on my 3-Gun rifle and that thing is damn near like magic.  It's accurate, light, handles well and the groups don't open up/no shifting POI after a mag or so.

Those 3, Larue. I own all 3 on many various rifles. If you want less than 200, than it's a coin toss for the other two. All 3 are great, but Larue is a top tier barrel for a great price while it is on sale.

I'm highly impressed with the barrel I just got from Wilson, it's a shame to cover it up with a handguard.  Very well made.

Unfortunately the OP asked for an 18" barrel with rifle gas system and LaRue doesn't make one. LaRue's are either 20" with rifle gas or 18" with intermediate gas system.

Well the gas system length isn't an automatic DQ, just a preference- torn between the faxon and Larue right now!

I'm kinda looking at the same thing. 18" with rifle length. I've kinda had my eye on a green mountain barrel but I don't know anyone with any personal experience. They do seem to have really good reviews though.

WOA.  Not "hot" right now, but they've been in the game for a LOOOOONG time...for good reason.
