I'd Look at Aero Precision, many retailers sell them so there's a chance you'll find them in stock somewhere.

DOA Arms has Aero upper assemblies for 79.99. Just picked up a few.

I would wait until you can find a colt or bcm.
Stag machines the m4 feed ramps extra small for some reason Aero doesn't use dry film lube inside, not sure how much it matters Specialized armament has colt uppers instock but be prepared to over pay http://www.specializedarmament.com/products/Upper_Receiver_Assy_Colt_M4_M4A1-369-289.html |

I have good old Cerro Forge stripped uppers for $60 shipped.

Just picked up an M4 flat top receiver from Right to Bear, 55 for receiver, and if you select the upper kit with it for 15, that's 70 bucks. I've assembled it with a faxon barrel and have test fired it, functions excellent and the ramps mate up perfect with the barrels ramps. I like that the upper kit's ejection door was actually blackish instead of grayish.

This build is on an Aero lower. 2nd I've used. They are great so I'm sure the upper is of equal quality.
Know where I can find one?

AP stripped uppers were back in stock at Primary Arms on Friday. There is a benefit to officing 5 miles from PA's store

There aint a damn thing special about a Colt Upper, go with what you want and can find in stock. As stated Aero makes a very nice one
