I realize this is only one day of shooting and comparing 1 of each so please keep that in mind when reviewing the results.
Only 1 type of ammo ADI 69 grain SMK's except the center group on the Green Mountain which was 68 grain PPU.
I ran out of time to shoot the Green Mountain for the MOA challenge which is a bummer as I feel it would have done well.
Price paid for each barrel-
Larue Stealth 20"-$245
Lothar Walther 18" -$259
Green Mountain18"-$189
Here are the 100 yard results all groups 5-shots-

Larue 20" Stealth- The clear accuracy winner of these barrels.

MOA Challenge target shot and entered in MOA challenge.

Lothar Walther 18"- Could have done a little better than target shows had I not blown a few shots.

MOA Challenge target shot and entered in MOA challenge.

Green Mountain 18"- Ran out of time to shoot the MOA challenge with it. I think it would have done very well.

Ammo test target. Outside groups ADI 69 grain SMK- Center group PPU 68 grain. Shows you how better quality ammo groups compared to others.
I think it would have given the Lothar Walther a run for it's money but not the Larue had I had time to shoot a MOA target with it.

Seems we get a lot of "what barrel" opinion threads. Everyone offers there opinion without actual pictures on how they perform.
Just showing my results head to head even if for only one example of each.

Damn good shooting fella!

I got a Stealth installed the other day and tried to shoot the Challenge.  Was hot as hell and I was performing poorly.  After I pulled the 2nd shot on first target and 3rd shot on 2nd attempt I called it a day.

I did manage to use a front rest and get .728 with 69g FGGM.

There is a reason why so few people relative to the number of members here have done the MOA challenge.  It's a lot harder than most realize.  My hat's off to you and the rest of the Challenge listers.  You guys are great shooters.

I will give it another go on a cooler day.  Thanks for sharing.

Did you use the same lower for each upper?  If you did not, what trigger was in each lower?

It does not look like you used the same scope for each upper.  What was the brand, magnification range of each scope and magnification you shot at for each upper?

What was the scope mount used for each scope/ upper?

I've only gotten .585 with my 20" Larue barrel on the MOA challenge

My best with a Green Mountain barrel is .836, not bad at all IMO.

Larue barrel upper has a Weaver 3-15x Tactical with hand polished milspec trigger.
Lothar Walther upper has a Primary Arms 4-14x FFP scope and milspec trigger
Green Mountain upper has a Vortex Diamond HP 4-16x scope and a milspec trigger.

I know I need to upgrade the triggers but it will be awhile now, so I will polish them and add JP springs to get by for the time being.

Nice shooting! Thanks for the write up and comparison. Not a bad day, to go out get two out of three rifles up on the MOA challenge; especially confirming the the GM is also a shooter, even if you didn't have the chance to enter it in the challenge too.

Not a bad day at all.

It's the best of my GM 18" barrels. The other two have done just under 1MOA and about 1.1MOA.

That is still excellent shooting for both barrels.
