Hi-
I don't see a lot of info on this $450 AR (Del-Ton DT Sport Lite), so I assume it's not GTG as a starter rifle.  Am I wrong?

I got a delton sport, I like it. It will fire anything I feed it and never had a jam in 4 years, except that time when I didn't clean it after like 3 or 4 times from range and about 1000 rounds tulammo . I use it primarily for the new shooters I take with me, they can shoot their hearts content with and I don't have to worry about them manhandleing my other stuff. Pretty good rifle for the price, I've seen some higher end ar's have more issues than this one. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase for beginners or advanced shooters. My .02
