Requesting input from users on the choices and placement of M-Lok Handstops:

1) I am aware of the Magpul and SLR Rifleworks M-Lok handstops. Are there others to consider?

2) I see that some people put a handstop out at the handguard end, and some put them back close to the receivers. I guess it depends on your style of shooting and whether you tend to push your support arm out or pull it tight toward the mag well, and use probably affected by rifle length. Usage advice requested.

Thanks

Anybody, Beuhler? Eh? So nobody uses hand stops on M Lok rails?

I have a couple of the Magpul hand stops.  This is one of my 3 Gun rifles.  I use a c-clamp grip with a mostly extended arm, so I place it toward the end of the rail.  Works well for me.

IWC (have versions with and without barrier "spikes")

I'm sure there are more and will be more on the way.

I'm probably going to go with the IWC or Zero Bravo for my "PDW."  Whichever I choose will be right at the end of the rail in front of my Magpul MVG.  Somewhat like the setup of the MP5K PDW front end.

The purpose of mine will be to keep my hand from sliding forward of the muzzle.  Some people use them further back and pull against them similar to a low profile AFG.  Something to give their hand some "bite" on the rail.

Like that bigger handstop on that rifle. Is it available in M-lok, if so where?

It's the same as the black one posted above. The black one is for MLOK

Looks like more of an angled fore grip than a hand stop.

Again, just like Odin, this is an angled fore grip, not a hand stop.

First thought was "angled foregrip" but no, its not. That unit could prove useful as a hand positioner both fore and aft. Its one of those just different items, that I would like to try before I buy if I could. maybe someone has used one and can offer some first hand use opinions.

Op I use the Naroh Arms handstops and love them, here's an example in keymod but they also make them for m-lok.

I just discovered that B5 Systems is bringing back the Lanco Tactical grip stop. Read here:

Hmmm, choices... choices....
