I JUST got my BCM lower I ordered from G&R Tactical, went to put on the ACS-L stock (for milspec tubes) and it was fairly stiff to even slide on. BCM and Magpul both state that the products are milspec.

Magpul stock:

This is my first Magpul stock, other than an MOE that came on a complete Bushmaster rifle years ago, so maybe they are just normally tight?

Milspec on milspec, per BCM's website and the place I bought the lower, and per the sticker on the box the stock came in from Midway. I do not have a micrometer to check the inner diameter of the stock to the outer diameter of the tube. It does slide back and forth like it should, but just a lot stiffer than the MOE stock on my Bushmaster and service rifles. I was just curious if this was normal? I probably should have worded my original post better at the bottom, that is what I get for trying to do more research and post at the same time.

First question I always ask. Mil spec stock on a commercial tube? In any case I would contact our CS dept and have them troubleshoot the issue.

yeah BCM does not, to my knowledge, use commercial spec tubes.

It is common for stocks to be a little tighter on BCM and VLTOR tubes due to theirtighter specs. They want to minimize as much play as possible in the fit of the stock to tube. As long as it is still functional and not restrictive you should be GTG

Yeah, I can still adjust it, just a little more effort to do so. Which is not bad, as that eliminates misses from an unsteady platform (guess that excuse is out for my misses right?). Thank y'all for the replies.
