that looks like the old school car stock so it should be milspec.  I have never seen that style in commercial.

Not sure about the stock but I can tell you if a buffer tube is commercial or milspec.

Me too, but I don't have a commercial tube around to test it on. Fits loose on my milspec tubes. Doesn't fall off but rattles.

I just measured the id of my LMT B5 which is a milspec stock and it's 1.173

That's a handy pic that I've referenced on more than one occasion.

Just gotta be careful to use multiple pieces of info from it, as some "milspec" stocks can have 6 positions these days, not every "commercial" is slanted (or easy to tell), etc.

But the info hold true most of the time.
