I recently installed a spikes battle trigger and decided to go with the jp yellow springs. It seems a little light on the hammer, maybe I should put the original hammer spring on it and leave the yellow trigger spring. What are your opinions??

Have you shot it yet? I have an ALG ACT which is similar to the Spike's trigger and it shoots fine with yellow JP springs.

I had the same set-up and had a couple light strikes.  I put the red hammer spring in and it works great now.  Might increase the pull weight just a little.

Spikes just released an enhanced battle trigger kit 2 that appears to include the red JP spring, so I can only assume that they feel this is the better option for functionality.

EDIT - the kit includes three screws to adjust trigger pull travel, disconnect travel, and reset travel

I tried JP yellows and had a bunch of light strikes on Lake City 193 and 855 so I swapped to a regular hammer spring and kept the yellow trigger spring.
