On their web site they are blowing some smoke...
"200% Stronger than Stainless Steel" Yes, Titanium is stronger than Steel, ON A WEIGHT BASIS ONLY!!! A pound of Titanium is stronger than a pound of Steel. A part of the same exact dimensions will be stronger out of steel. |

The upper looks interesting. I'd like to see some pics of the port side and pics of it on a lower. The Ti/polymer lower looks like shit.

What grade or alloy of titanium? There are a bunch of them, and the spread of yield strengths and tensile strengths is about 100 ksi.
A very common one is grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). It has a yield strength around 130ksi and ultimate tensile around 140 ksi. Never heard of this outfit. |
