Have one on a 10.5 pistol, looks like tx1021's rifle, minus the VFG and an inch of barrel, and with a SIG brace. DD rear on mine, too.
VLTOR was doing the selective rail thing before it was cool. They're no longer the cool kid accessory, but I like the size, ease of mounting, and price. Removable bottom is useful for cleaning. |

Here's one I built a while ago. Sold it, but am going to rebuild it again. I really like the feel of the CASV.
