Noticed that the flat side of my A2's flash suppressor doesn't point straight down, it points about 7:30.

If I loosen it until the flat side IS on the bottom, it's loose. Am I missing a washer? Should I use high temperature thread sealer? Teflon tape?

Please help.

Are you using a crush washer behind it?

If not, procure a crush washer and it'll be easy to time correctly.

Use a crush washer and only tighten until it is properly timed.

Yes you should have a washer, crush or peel type, it's your choice.

Aquire new crush washer, take your time and time carefully. They do not need to be man hulked tight. Old school ones were simply hand tightened.

As for using loctite or tape. No. Only if you never want to get it off again. Its already going to get super filled with carbon in there, and after time will be like its part of the barrel. You dont want to make that worse.
