For HD, suppressed is the winner...

Those two devices are at odds with each other and apply to different needs. How do you define "Serious Social Use" ? Is it a range toy that you plan on shooting, frequently with friends? Go with the linear comp, in that case, to make it a more comfortable experience for spectators/fellow shooters.

Mostly indoors or mostly outdoors?  Outdoors I'd go Griffin but indoors I'd go STD.

GFC.

Better muzzle climb mitigation for quicker follow up shots.

Any flash suppressor would be my choice in a sd/hd role.

Yhm phantom or smith vortex or anything similar

I think there is an s&j linear comp, maybe that was what he was referring to?  Griffin is a couple weeks out on a linear comp m4sd 2 suppressor mount.  A trijicon sales rep suggested we make one.  I guess people who use indoor shoot houses a lot for work often run linear comps in order to reduce hearing damage.

I hadnt considered that previously.   We're also bringing out brake shields which would give linear comp attributes to any m4sd 2 device.

Okay, I'll be the guinea pig, just ordered two of GA's new linear compensators, fingers crossed!
