It's a BCM 11.5" with 10" KMR. As someone else mentioned, the aimpoint mount is made by Scalarworks.

I've been liking this setup, don't trust the KMR yet, just need to use it.

I recommend putting witness marks on the KMR cross bolt so you can keep an eye on it..

It's not the cross bolts that I don't trust, it's the strength of the rail and particularly my BUIS maintaining zero out on the end of the 15" rail.

With a little thumb pressure out on the end of the rail there is some flexing.

I've had a few KMRs and I've had crossbolts come loose causing loss of zero.

I've also dented all of my KMRs pretty easily.

As long as you put a ton of thread locker on the crossbolt and crank her down you shouldn't have any problems.

I did however dent one of the keymod slots so badly that I can't mount anything there now.

Will be posting my Syrac Piston under my KMR as soon as I get back to Florida. Can't wait to test her out.

ArizonaCowboy

Have you installed your KMR per the directions that come with it and had them come loose?
I did and have gotten that thing smoking hot many times, shot thousands of rounds, and they appear to be holding well. Maybe I'll check with my torque wrench.

Also when you say dent do you mean the rail or just the keymod slots?

Curious to hear back
Jeff

Yes, all rails were either installed by BCM or by myself per the instructions. One of the rifles had about 8k rounds through it until the crossbolt came loose. That one saw a few carbine classes.

The second one had over 12k rounds down range and was tossed around quite a bit before the bolt came loose.

The other one, the round count was unknown (atleast a few thousand) and the rail was smacked against a wall and came loose.

And when I mean dent, the rail didn't bend but the material caved inward and cracked causing the keymod slot to be unusable.

All these rifles were good to go after a couple drops of locktite and a screw driver so it's not a big deal. I just bought another BCM last week with a KMR

Just make sure they're tight and put witness marks on them!

Interesting. Definitely some higher round counts which is good.

I had a Samson Evo that if you looked at it wrong the rail screws came loose.

Is there any rail that can guarantee it is going to stay tight? DD maybe

This is my 14.5" ELWF with 13" KMR, complete BCM rifle

I'm looking for some input on an 11.5" with 10" KMR. It will be setup the same as the 14.5" but I will have an AAC Mini4 on the end.
Should I go ELW, ELWF, or Gov?
Wanting to keep it light but not have accuracy completely go to hell after half a mag.
I'm personally leaning towards ELW.
If anyone has experience with a similar setup, please let me know.
