Finally got my parts back and the screw stripped out trying to loosen it after seeing the handguard favored to the left.

I had her all ready.

Sent An email to CA for help.

Its still a bad ass handguard.

I emailed CA about it and they have one they are calling a prototype that they'll probably send you. Hopefully they just start including them with the rails like a lot of other manufacturers do

Does anyone have some pictures of a 9.5" CMR with a 10.5 upper?

Is that a 10.5" barrel? It's hard to tell from that angle.

Haha I'm not quite sure! I believe I purchased it about 3-4 years ago. It doesn't seem to look like that anymore when I take pictures of it. It was only like that under certain lighting in my living room. Most of the time it looks normal...same lower below

And check out this purple-ish MUR on my Ares rifle

It's by far my favorite upper. I've since traded the Aimpoint for an EXPS, added a DBAL-A3 and am using my AAC 556-SD for now. Can't wait till my Mini-4 can gets here, that will be perfect for that upper. With an adjustable gas block, it is the smoothest, softest-shooting upper I own.

I didn't know an adjustable gas block would fit. Which one did you use?

I just ordered an 18" Faxon Gunner barrel with a rifle length gas system and I'm thinking about ordering the Centurion Arms 13" CMR Mlok rail.  I'm wanting to have the front of the gas block partially exposed.
Like in this pic:

If someone could post a pic of a 13" CMR rail installed on an upper with an 18" barrel (rifle gas system) I'd appreciate it.  I know the 13" CMR measures out to be 13.46" in length.

Thanks
Rob

After installing the barrel nut and using an ATI Armors Wrench, as I was attempting to do my first Torque at 40Ft/Lbs.. The spanner/tab snapped on me =\ no worries Weaponoutfitters came thru for me with the Geissele barrel nut tool.. Lol

The cmr has a small diameter, no doubt.

The BA pin/set screw gas block (which is not the tiniest fits,) but if I push hard enough on the barrel I can get it to touch in any direction.  If I put the rifle on a barrier and put some weight on it, the rail does not deflect enough to touch the barrel.  So hopefully I'm good.  I haven't shot it yet, I'll update if it's an issue.  The barrel has to bend close to a quarter inch to touch the bottom.  The sides and top are roomier.

Here's a CMR MLOK next to an alg v2

I have a 14" Gen 1 and the new 13" Mlok, are the barrel nuts the same?  I don't wanna break down an upper to see lol.  Only difference I see is how it's wrench points have changed...............Thanks

Oh and the Mlok is ridiculously slimmer even compared to the Gen 1 which I always thought was hella skinny...........

They are definitely different. Whether or not they are compatible I don't yet know. I did the same thing, put a 13" MLOK on an older gen 1/1.5 barrel nut. I've yet to fire it to confirm it does not move around.

'I just finally installed my 14.5" BA Hansen barrel to my build and the pinned gas block fits great under the 14" CMR. Unfortunately it looks like I will not be able to use the Griffin M4SD comp and QD blast shield combo I wanted because not enough of the barrel's threads are exposed. Approximately 3/8 of the threads are outside of the CMR.

Anyone know if the Griffin taper mount version of the M4SD and taper mount shield might work? Thanks!

Not sure how to post pics on this forum since they are just saved on my computer...
