This is my new favorite rail. But IMO the accessories really take it above and beyond!

I'll be able to finally post pics here next week.

For those of you with the cmr scout mount, is it polymer? Anyone have any problems with durability?

Quick question:

Can a regular front site base be ground down enough to work underneath the CMR system?

Thanks!

That's what mine is. Started as an A2, and was cut off and ground down by the guys at Weapon Outfitters

Cool. Thanks. I don't mind cutting mine down, I just wanted to make sure the clearance would work.

It's made by my company, Arisaka, specifically for the CMR. :)

11" CMR with a 12.5" barrel.  I originally bought the 12" CMR but it was too long to allow for the suppressor at 12.56".

Thank you for the compliment. As Stickman has said many times in the past, it's all about getting the right light.

It works fine on the left side of the handguard. You can't see it in this picture, but there's an mbus pro in the front most picatinny slot.

Any specs on this rifle? Only the thumbnail was available from an image search, which lead me to TOS, and no one and requested information on the rifle. Is it the 11 on a 14.5?

So I drop $360 for the pleasure of one of these from Rainer Arms for a .308 build. Now I have to drop another $60 for a spanner wrench from another source since Centurions poor business practice means they produce a product without the necessary supporting tools. Now If I want to have the right rails or textured grip panels I have to drop another $60+ dollars for the pleasure of their acccesories.

There are plenty of other companies out there that for the same money or less will provide you with all of the necessary pieces, parts and tools to attach it and add accesories as needed.

Looks nice complete but should you have to spend nearly $500?

Yeah I'll go elsewhere in the future.

The recommended tool is $23 on mcmaster, not $60.

You could buy a $300 KAC URX which needs a $300 tool, and has an $85 panel/accessory kit. :)

Gents,
What's the go-to gas block with regards to the CMR rails and a .625" barrel? CA only makes a .750" and can't/won't offer any suggestions on something that will work with a light weight barrel. I'm about to order a 14.5" ELW from BCM to stick in a CMR14 and I'm wondering if the BCM gas block will fit. Being limited to a phone makes surfing 42 pages a pain in the cock and my searches keep turning up arguments from almost two years ago here on what .750 gas blocks need to be filed on or hacked to fit.

TIA!
Ek
