Stick, Can you run a Troy BUIS at the very front of the rail and use the Centurion Scout mount? It looks very tight. |

Do you have a picture of the view from above like this one with the covers on it? It looks awesomely thin without them, so I'm curious how much width they add ETA: I accidently a word and just now realized |

Ahhh ok...it's certainly a slick looking rail My worry is that search engines will lock onto it, and then every time someone does a search, they will get bad pics making it look fatter. It really does stay thin with these covers, so I'm not sure how much of a difference there will actually be. |

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer, just curious. 308 CMR below. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7282/8744002507_3fdf7f738c_o.jpg I have a 16" barrel with carbine gas and the 12" just seems right to me. I know it's not much, but the 14" weighs just a hair more, costs just a hair more, etc. and I don't really need the extra length. I also have a a 458 Socom with 16" barrel/12" handguard and like the way it handles. |

I also have a big box of Uline velcro tape so we go nuts with the Velcro around the office. Means I don't have to skimp when it comes to outfitting weapons and switching around. I also use "Sheriff of Baghdad" Combat bands to assist with securing wires when i'm actually out shooting too. Our system charges orders immediately, so we generally don't do pre-orders. Got my e-mail from Centurion a few days back, our rails are en-route at the moment! -Roy |
