Speaking of being broke, has there been any mention of a ball-park figure for this?  $250-$300?  $300-$350?  Or is it one of those, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it anyway" deals?

$300 for the 12", $315 for the 14": http://www.weaponoutfitters.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=cmr

EDIT to make it hot since this is the ONLY fucking site I use that doesn't automatically parse URLs.

Wow the AFG is really close to the rail which is a big plus.

Any rail gets hot, for people who shoot heavy volumes gloves become pretty mandatory.  The rail covers should do a good job as well.

True but these modular rails tend to get hotter, and faster from my experience.

ETA: So any pics with a handstop attached like a IWC, or Larue if it can be attached?

Stick,

Can you run a Troy BUIS at the very front of the rail and use the Centurion Scout mount?  It looks very tight.

Do you have a picture of the view from above like this one with the covers on it?  It looks awesomely thin without them, so I'm curious how much width they add

ETA: I accidently a word and just now realized

The production version of the covers are going to be thinner, so I don't want to show a picture that isn't functionally accurate (hopefully that makes sense).

Ahhh ok...it's certainly a slick looking rail

Will the scout lights in this position using that mount fit under a DBAL-I2?

Sweet, what made you decide with the 12 vs the 14?  I don't think there is a right or wrong answer, just curious.

308 CMR below.

I have a 16" barrel with carbine gas and the 12" just seems right to me. I know it's not much, but the 14" weighs just a hair more, costs just a hair more, etc. and I don't really need the extra length. I also have a a 458 Socom with 16" barrel/12" handguard and like the way it handles.

Just did a quick test fit, and yes, they work fine with the MUR-1A I just got straight from VLTOR

Just finished up a CMR 12" build with one of the Centurion Arms 14.7" barrels we finally got in.

How did you get that tape switch mounted there? Just curious.

Edit: Question about your pre-order since I'm posting anyway. Card charged at time of order, or not until they ship out? Thanks!
