The burnt bronze thread had some beauties.

At this time I'm thinking for a 20" bbl. Any gas block/sight will do for now.

For a 20" rail, a DD lite 14" or a Troy Alpha 15" would be reallllllly tough to beat.

Best looking rail? I thought this was a tech forum?

Regardless, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so the only opinion that matters is yours

Daniel Defense Omega Rails are awesome. Also Midwest Industries Gen 2 are nice as well and cheaper.

Midwest Industries gen 2 SS is probably my favorite looking.
The Recce gun that Bravo used it on in shotgun news looks awesome.

I like the Troy TRX but the YHM Diamonds are also super light and look great.
I care more about lightweight than looks, but luckily, I just like the looks of some of the lightest ones.

Its all personal prefereance. I am partial to LaRue rails. I have had 2 and I have another coming soon. Very high qualty and its a good design. Also a very low profile rail. The DD rails stick down from the barrel too far IMO. The LaRue rails hug the barrel on 3 sides for a very low profile setup.

Personally feel that DD produces the best quality and looking rails on the market.

What will be the purpose of the rifle? Comp, precision, or general purpose?

For anything I want to put a bipod on, I am a fan of 15" rails. I like the MI gen2 SS due to the ease of mount a stud or rail section for a bipod. I am currently gathering parts up for my 20" to do just that and I am looking at the Magpul PRS stock and the MI Gen2 SS in 15". I have a Troy Extreme that I have a stud mount for my bipod so this one will be able to use pretty much any bipod that is stud mounted.

For modular type of floats I pick this....

For fully railed systems I think Centurion makes one of the sharpest looking out there...

Super light. Easy to install. Comfortable profile. Outstanding quality.

I've had most listed in this thread. It's going to take something pretty significant to replace my Samson EVO's.
