anyone have a lead on stripped uppers without the forward assist? the only ones i have been able to find in stock are VLTOR or ones without the deflector. ranier spikes brownells are all out of stock atm.

I actually just ordered a DPMS Lo-Pro upper the other day for $80, it has no forward assist, dust cover or brass deflector.... JSE Surplus....

It's not usually a problem, and then only if you're shooting left-handed. You can get snap-on brass deflectors if you feel you need one:


Or, you can hunt down one of these rare, and expensive, LMG upper receivers...

.....or get a 9mm upper and drill the gas tube hole in the front then install a standard dust cover.

Have one of the rainier and sun devil uppers. The sun devil is weighty, but nice. Rainier is nice and lw.
