It took 5-6 months to get mine too and that was at the begining of last year before all the craziness. I'm sure they are working hard to fill the orders, nothing but good things to say about the team at AXTS they are good people. It's nice that they keep you in the loop from the start to finish of the process, I know the waits a killer but it's worth it, believe me.

Thats good to hear. Anyone had their lower Cerakoted? If so, mind posting a picture.

My two MRP/AXTS builds in progress. (Barrels cut from 14.5" to 11.5" and dimpled by Marvin Pitts...waiting on SBR approval before assembly.) Cerakote color is FDE http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l154/mikecleonard/IMAG0523.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l154/mikecleonard/IMAG0522.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l154/mikecleonard/IMAG0521.jpg Yeah first time I've seen one in that color...really nice! |

I'm worried sick about getting mine. I just ordered in the middle of December so there's no way I could expect my lower from AXTS for at least another 90 days. I wish those guys would give updates on how soon they can get the product out. Yeah, I share your pain. Ordered mine on February 4. I'm optimistic, nervous too. |

Abe sent an email, saying they should ship first week of march.

Are you featuring the sling or the AXTS AX-556? The sling covers much of the receiver.
We sent AXTS a big box of selectors in a hurry, that usually happens when the receivers are rushing out the door Which selector did you go with, 90 or 45 degree? |

Haha yeah I figured I'd whored enough of lower in this thread as it was. 45* CASS of course, sir. Love it as well...really hoping there's a crank and hybrid in development. |
Oh they are, we've been meaning to do them for a long time, just never seem to be able to find the machine time

They are shipping mine tomorrow. There were some communication errors on their part. They didn't know that I had already paid via check, and for a short while I was told to get mine they way I wanted (custom engraving markings) I would have to wait another 2 months until the next batch was done. After explaining again what it was that I wanted, they said that they had it and there was no problem. I'm guessing they have overloaded themselves with orders.
my order >350, shipping tomorrow. they're missing some internal pieces, but abe wanted to get them out sooner rather than later... im sure it's bc some folks are getting kinda antsy in their pantsy, but he said he wants to get them out before any legislation passes.
either way, i cant wait! |
Order 455 is on its way. Been a long wait but will be worth it.
Congrats! Whats the rest of the build going to look like? And anyone know what number they're up to now?
The rest of the build is sitting on a table waiting for a short barrel and a pistol buffer.
My order was lower than the 490 guy earlier in this page. They are somewhere between his 490 and 550 order.

order 468 in hand. All is well but the selector lever. I requested full auto, received semi.

I'm in the early 700's and this damn thread is making me salivate.

Obviously have to wait for the metal parts from them still. In any case I put it together partially.

I have an 11.5" bfh bcm and midlength urx 3.1 that will go on my ax556 once I get it and throw it on a form 1. gonna be a long time though |

KAC Mod 1 Upper w/micro iron sights Magpul CTR Stock Magpul MIAD Grip Larue index clips Larue Buffer Tube Noveske QD Endplate Tactical Spring White Standard Buffer (have blue & red available) Carbine Buffer Battle Arms 45 degree selector Geisselle SD-C Trigger Am I forgetting anything? Otherwise I am waiting on a Aimpoint T1 w/Larue tall mount and also a KAC MAMS muzzle device. Plus trying to decide on a sling. |

I'm getting pretty excited. I'm order #568 which was place on 12/27. So far I have a DD 14.5" LW barrel and a Noveske 13.5" NSR. I just found a Vltor MUR upper that I'll be sending payment for. I still need a BCG. Anyone? I'm thinking about just backordering a Fail Zero and waiting.

Did you lick the magwell and pivot pin area? First thing I did, Tastes sooooo tactical. my # was 381 btw. |

Raizo, when did you place your order? I'm in the high 600s, just hit my 60 day mark. Wondering how much longer I have to wait, kinda anxious. I have nearly everything else for the build.

In all honesty you've probably got another 60 days at least...perhaps another 100. Almost everyone in this thread waited 5-6 months for their lowers. It seems like they are starting to turn out more each run though so times might be going down. |
Damn...if you were all the way down in the mid 200s and there are people up in the 400s getting theirs as well I'd say production is ramping up indeed.
The serial is low 200s also. What are the serials of the guys in the 400s? If the order numbers include the people buying Raptors that would account for a lot of it.

I think it includes a few, but for the most part I think those are lower orders since they recently suspended Raptor sales direct from their website. I think I saw someone say they had a 39X lower. |
Damn that means their last bunch they probably pumped out some 200+ lowers. Surprised AXTS handled it as well as they did.
I received mine 5 months ago and my # is high 100's. Thinking of placing another order

Mine was order #468. Serial # 26x Well shit...maybe the guy who said he was in the 390s was talking about order, but I thought he had meant serial |
50-100 lowers sounds more correct then. Still a lot. Anyone hear of an eta for the lower parts?
Same here, My AX is low 100's...going to order another this summer if nothing new pops up to prevent me from doing so.

Order 460. SN in the 230's
Don't know if the SN and orders coincide. I'm sure they just fill orders in the order of placement with whichever lower is closest to them. Waited 13weeks for delivery. Ordered mine the week before the Connecticut crap. Sn13

Mine was ordered in October. I guess I was one of the first to order for the last batch. Lucky me...
Yeah btm, I called in Jan when I ordered mine because I wanted the BAD CASS-ST rather than the BAD ASS-ST and he told me they were about 60 to 90 days lead time. He did tell me they were bringing a few more machines on line to help speed up production.
