My bad then! Wasn't trying to be a jerk, I legitimately tried making that mistake when I tried putting mine together. :P

How do you order if you dont want to use the FFL finder??? You still use it and just select anything and put in the notes that you don't want to use them and that you will either fax/email your FFL info to them or have your FFL fax/email them. Happened to me because the finder couldn't find my FFL so I just picked Wal-Mart and put in the notes that I'd get my FFL info to them later. |

A couple of questions:
1. Anyone know how long it will be until they release their billet uppers? 2. Anyone know how long it will be until they release their billet .308 lowers? Can't wait!! |

A couple of questions: 1. Anyone know how long it will be until they release their billet uppers? 2. Anyone know how long it will be until they release their billet .308 lowers? Can't wait!! Both are pure speculation since they've never given solid dates for either. I've been following them on Facebook for a few months now and this question comes up every now and then and the answer is the same: they are trying to catch up on the huge demand they've got for the AX556 and Raptor that the other projects are just getting postponed indefinitely. The AX762 was supposed to be the end of this year, but I'd probably say it'll be spring next year. They said they're making progress on the backlog of AX556's with every run, so it's only a matter of time before they can catch up and start spreading resources to their other projects. My honest opinion is that the earliest we the AX762 is March 2013, upper maybe about this time next year. As far as I know they haven't even cut a prototype or anything. Granted an upper is a lot less complicated than the lowers they designed, but the AX556 was announced roughly a year before they were ever produced for purchase. |

I wonder if the AXTS guys would be willing to wheel and deal for one of those lowers and one of the 762 lowers.... I have something of value they may be interested in.... Hmmmm....

Very Nice! Have you got a chance to shoot it yet? I find it hard to remember that I have a bolt release by my trigger finger but I suppose that's a good excuse to practice more.
|

I've had it out once and put about 500 rounds through it...hoping to get it out this weekend for another go
I know what you're talking about though...after not using an ambi bolt release for so long I have to keep reminding myself it's there |

Wow, that's a lot of high end hardware you got
Are you planning on using the TTU with a 45 or 90 degree selector? Please note that many TTUs have compatibility problems with the 45 degree selector. The latest production of short throw selectors are 50 degree throw, aimed to fix this incompatibility. |

This thread is driving me to the poor house.
I had to sell a gun just to fund the receiver.... but you shall be mine! My precious!

All the BAD selectors I have are 90 I dont really care for the 45, Its not that important for me. The TTU Is going in the Seekins build and the Geissele S3G is going in the AXTS and the ACT trigger is going in my ATACS-FG build Here is my ATACS FG BUILD http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_4/589947_.html |

If you ever want to try it, please let me know. You have so much hardware from us and our partners (AXTS, Seekins Precision, Rainier Arms, and Spikes Tactical), I think a T&E short throw selector is in order if you're so inclined

They should be there...their site is a little hard to navigate
http://www.knightarmco.com/commercial/?term=rails There it was under commercial -> accessories -> rail adaptor They seem like great rails, but installation requires a special proprietary wrench or some proprietary part that costs $200 or something insane. I'd love to try one eventually, but have no desire to pay for the wrench so I'd most likely have to mail it off to have it put on. I know Weapon Outfitters carries them and they are one of the industry partners on here with their own section http://www.weaponoutfitters.com/kac-urx3-1.html |

It will have a lawyer pin as found on our short throw selectors. |

Yep, as the 5 degree increase from 45 degree was a fix for Wilson Combat TTU compatibility issues, at 50 degree, the pointer still doesn't point to the letter F in FIRE, especially so if the FIRE engraving is simply represented by a single letter F.

Bump for the new guy, also is anyone waiting and worried? Hopefully current events won't effect you guys out there waiting. I'm thinking of getting another AX556 this year if everything goes well in the next 2 months. Nothing new as far as the upper goes either, as far as I know.

I'm worried sick about getting mine. I just ordered in the middle of December so there's no way I could expect my lower from AXTS for at least another 90 days.
I wish those guys would give updates on how soon they can get the product out. |

I wish those guys would give updates on how soon they can get the product out. You will be fine...don't buy into the panic. Obama's executive orders basically amounted to squat and all he can do is "encourage" Congress to pass another AWB. Call me optimistic, but no way that makes it through the House right now. At the end of the day, it's just so he can feel good about himself and raise his hands in the air and tell himself it isn't his fault and that he tried. You will get your lower, just have some patience. They will update you guys as they know stuff. |

I ordered on the 14th of dec. Abe told me 30 more days on the 15th of Jan. I'm not really nervous, just feel like the days are creeping along.

It took me 6 months to get mine from my order date and it was well worth it. Fixing to order another one in the next couple of days.

Just got an email saying they were just a few weeks out. But that the steel parts won't be ready until l,ater so they are going to ship them separately.
