I've long lusted after your green machine. IIrc, I've seen full shots of it over on TOS. The LW MLOK 14.5" MWS has the potential to be one of nicest MWSs I've ever seen or read about. When the date comes we can all vote and then crown the winner. Maybe everyone pitches in 5 bucks in order to compete and the winner receives the pot. Someone we designate will hold the cash until the winner is declared. For instance the fellow MRP member we designate, we can all PayPal or venmo him our 5 dollar entry fee so that person holds the cash. We could earmark a solid week coming up that the entry's will be submitted during, then after that week came and ended we will all have the next week to vote on here as such- MY OFFICAL VOTE GOES TO XXX We will count all votes submitted during the week we label as the voting looking over the posts to make sure they fall within the specified dates and are legal votes. What do you guys think? If we like the idea we can set forth some ground rules such as the picture submission can only be of the rifle no background peripherals such as NODs, etc (to prevent the coolest pic from winning and focus the attention on the actual rifle itself) and whatever other criteria everyone thinks is fair and relevant. So what's everyone say? View Quote Stuck in the middle east so I would have to role with what's on my phone but who cares. Would give a lot of good design ideas to new comers. |

Welcome to the family Hox, and that's a sweet pair of rifles.
Love how you got the MRP setup, and I bet that makes one very versatile rifle. Congrats, and look forward to hearing your thoughts on the MRP ETA: How do you like the LMT ambi CH? Can you compare it to any other ambi CHs you might have had in the past? |

I'm honored to be included. I'll be sure to update thoughts as I go View Quote As far as the LMT ambi handle, it feels pretty standard. The left side feels slightly smoother than the right under scrutiny. I did not notice this on the Radian or BCM, but it's been awhile since I owned either of those and I was just thrilled to have ambi handles then. I believe the slight grit I feel on the right side would be unnoticed under actual use. I can tell you, however, that the LWRC sitting next to has a better charging handle. The pins that secure the latches are huge, and both sides operate equally smooth with no grit throughout the pull. So I do prefer the LWRC handle, but as I said, under actual use I'd be hard pressed to notice I imagine. The LMT handle does what it's designed to do and although I've read reports from others over the years, I've never broken a charging handle latch and don't expect the LMT to be the one to fail. But the Radian and LWRC were the smoothest, in my unprofessional opinion. |

Looking through it, I love it, especially for the price. I'm always skeptical of "daylight bright!!!" advertisements, as I typically find they end up being "daylight dim" But the P4xi is truly daylight bright. We had a foot of snow and high sun the other day, and I had no problem seeing the aiming dot as bright as my aimpoint CompC3. No joke. I love that. The glass is better than I would expect for the price tag. The edge to edge clarity is again better than I would expect for the price. My only real complaint is the illumination dial spins a little more freely than I'd like without super positive detents. I feel it could get bumped while slung since it will lay toward my body. I admittedly don't do much low light shooting, so having the etched reticle will suffice if it is bumped. At 17oz I feel it is an appropriate weight, 21oz is where I've been afraid to venture beyond in the past lol. The rifle is heavy with the optic and flashlight mounted up, but I like the way it's set up. So far as I don't run into frequent unintentional illumination changes and the optic retains zero, I'll chalk it up as a fantastic deal that I would recommend to anyone. |

Most excellent feedback on the CHs Hox. Really appreciate the detailed reply.
Outside of trying to keep everything LMT as possible, I think the Geissele ACH is most likely what I should get. LMT will still get more money from me on this build anyways, but they E carriers are OOS. |

Getting close, and have pretty much decided on the last remaining parts, just have to find them. Last items I need to buy are a T-1/2 w/ 2moa dot, Scalarworks Gen 3 mount, LMT E carrier, and lastly ACH CH. Got the MD, Sights, Arisaka mount in this last week.
WL setup should be complete by Monday when the M600u gets here. It's mounted via the Arisaka, and will be activated via a SR-07 tape switch. |

Your correct, that's a factory MRP 14.5" carbine gas barrel. I need to throw it in my MRP recce chassis setup, and report back with some 10rd groups for the hive. |

Have you tried tightening down both of the barrel locking screws?
