The A2 upper is real interesting.....did LMT make a A2 upper receiver rifle? If so I haven't ever seen one. Then again, they could have made them for someone like they do for others.

ETA: Dang, I wanted that .204 SS barrel for many years....but never got one because it would just be a range toy. For $200 I might just get one. Anybody have one? If so, have you tried Hornady Factory loaded Vmax? ETA 2: I wonder if these are the same stock of .204 SS barrels they've had for years....my guess is that it very likely could be given I almost never see one of these in use. If that's the case, then there is a good chance these might be Rock 5R SS barrels. If I was a betting man, I'd say these are NOS, and are Rock barrels. |

The gears are turning with the 12 days sale. With the $600 LM8MWS and the $300 16" 308 barrel, it seems like I can put together a mostly LMT MWS for a pretty good price. Tempting

Only things there that interest me are the .308 components, and I'd have preferred the MWS quad-rail. I was really hoping for some MRP short barrels, so I guess I'll sit this one out.

Nothing that I am looking for, But they are running some pretty good promotions these days.
only need a complete lower and a Charging handle to complete my Second MWS, Ill run the Mars lower on the 13.5 MLOC and run the original lower/railed chassis with my 6.5 barrel. While I am not sure I "need" a second complete MWS given the modular natural of the platform, its nice to be able to piece one together. |

Can you not clear the IR laser up front w/out the riser? How hard is it maintain a sight picture with that riser setup?
