In order 12.5" 5.56 barrel with AAC MITER flash hider 10.5 .300aac barrel with direct thread Omega on it 16" 5.56 barrel turned to a smaller profile by Marvin Pitts with a MITER flash hider on it Now that i've got it back and together I'm starting to think this flashlight is way too big for this thing. |

This is my favorite thread in the forum -- finally decided to join.
I'd like to have a 6.5 Grendel barrel converted for my stretch MRP. Partsforguns is the only outfit I've read of who is reputed to do this type of work. I reached out to them a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard back. Does anyone else know of an alternate trusted source for MRP barrel conversions? I wish LMT made a barrel in 6.5G. The precision caliber makes sense for the precision platform. I do not want to build a new upper. I'd like to enhance my MRP kit, and be the first on this forum with a 6.5 Grendel MRP. Sorry for not including a photo in my first post to the site - and Badness at that; sacrilegious, I know. |

One of my friends using my 10.5" MRP with gemtech carrier and saker 762 on another friend's Colt RR M16 lower. Super smooth and soft shooting in full-auto, without any gas-to-face.

Pretty confident in this system, played some cqb drills last weekend and although I was a shade slower on the first round over my buddies Eotech sighted rifle I wasnt giving much up and I have alot more faith and time behind an ACOG. I'd like an opportunity to stretch out that 12.5 barrel and see where the ragged edge of the ACOG's BDC and the reduced velocity of the barrel is. It is a hefty beast though View Quote |
