No longer in production.

Here's a Special Edition:

I had some artistic freedom for my own.
I put my own on my personal lowers while there (a couple of variations here):

Found these today at a gun show from a somewhat local to me company in FL, Special Ops Tactical.  Thought they were pretty neat.  These are the ones I brought home with me.  There was another local company there too but I didn't think to take any pictures.  Next time..

My contribution here is my Colt SP6920 Sporter M4 Carbine, note no caliber markings, these new markings were available March 2011 and replaced the LE6920 roll marks.

There are no LE restricted markings on the right side mag well which are on the LE series.

The manufacturer's markings above the hammer and trigger pins are "COLT'S MFG. CO. INC. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A."

New markings on Colt lower receivers are SAFE - FIRE selector markings on the right side of the lower which had been changed mid 2010.

For more info on Colt announcement and changes go to their Facebook wall.

Colt's new M4 Carbine roll mark of model 6920 carbines for 2012 posted by member TxTacticalArms in this thread > Thread link (click here)

This replaced the "Sporter M4 Carbine" roll mark that was only available last year 2011 (see my carbine pic above).

The M4 Carbine roll marks are on models LE6920, Magpul 6920 versions, California SP6920 version, and some limited run distributors models.

Both Colt Defense and Colt's Mfg. Co. Inc. markings are on the M4 Carbine marked lowers.

Another new Colt roll mark for 2012 of model LE6920SOCOM carbines posted by member jagdkommando in this thread > Thread link (click here)

These are a limited production model with factory installed KAC M4 RAS rails and suppose to have 16" M4A1 SOCOM medium/ heavy profile barrels.

Here's another M4:

Safety on

Semi

Burst, notice the bottom of the sear rotates forward, thus allowing the hammer to be caught during burst firing; the bolt carrier then rotates it back aft during it's forward motion releasing the hammer.

Diemaco Bolt

And some Upper Forge Codes:
Anchor Harvey for Colt

Poorly struck proof mark

Anchor Harvey for Diemaco

Cardinal for Colt

and another Anchor Harvey for Diemaco

And I know this isn't a AR but I thought the rebuild marks were kind of neat:

I was issued a GM A1 rifle in Basic.

Fit between the upper and lower was terrible.

Worst Rifle I ever shot.

Probably because it was misused by a generation of recruits.

Colt Defense latest markings since October 2015 for models CE1000 Expanse M4, CE2000 Expanse M4+, standard LE6920 M4 carbine, LE6920 OEM1 & OEM2 (no furniture), and LE6920 Magpul MOE SL series.

Note the new QR code (covered) at the right of Colt Defense markings just above the Safe selector marking, the serial number, Colt Defense and QR code are laser engraved, the rest are roll marked.

Right side selector markings of the same lower receiver above, Colt added right side selector markings to most lowers since mid 2010.

This particular lower receiver was from a model CE1000 Expanse M4 carbine that I purchased new in March this year 2016, the markings are the same as other LE6920 variants.

I bought several lowers and complete carbines from "National Ordnance Company"
When they first started up in the early 90's.
I was an FFL dealer at the time.
The problem with them was they powder coated them and they just did not fit well with the uppers and lowers.

I may still have one or two in one of my safes.
I cannot tell if this thread is still going, but it has some interesting posts.
If it is I will try to find them and post some pictures.
