how do you guys take these "moon lighting" pictures with the guns?

Some how it allows you a perfect view of what the gun really looks like and gives it a cool, eerie, nighttime glow/aura.

Does anyone know what I mean?

There are some pics like this on page 11 about half way down.

I have one that I have not seen a picture of on your thread.  I have a Frankford Arsenal lower that I bought stripped and built it up for an extra upper that I had.  If you'd like a picture of it, I'll be glad to take one and see if I can get it uploaded.  I would like for you to smudge the last digits of the s/n if you don't care.....

Here's a few FN's for ya.

The good ol' electro-stenciled A2 along with its barrel marking.

A wierd one, its been remarked as a A4, it has clean roll marks on it so maybe a late model A2? It can't be a A3 as its marked burst?

And finally the A4 with its barrel.

[Last Edit: schaz42] [#22]
And some colts:

A very early AR-15/M16 model, remarked to A2 and burst.

A A1 remarked to A2, the selector has a raised knob on it, all of our remarks have these selectors. And its "E" marked barrel.

A very finish worn A2

Looking for more fotos of Diemaco markings around the selector on the left lower, and also whether there are any markings repeated on the right side around the selector as on Colts and others.  Particularly interested in the UK L119A1, Dutch etc. as issued.  No airsoft, but as issued

Has anybody seen a lower receiver that has triangular cut outs in the sides of the magwell so that you can see the magazine almost all the way up?  I saw it yesterday and now can't think of the company's name.  Any help would be appreciated.

Found these on the web and was wondering if the top photo is a legit version of L119A1 markings or whether it might be airsoft and not quite accurate copy.  For the first photo, note the UKXXXXXXXX (a lower number) as opposed to a XXXXXXXXXGB serial number, and SAFE-SEMI-AUTO as opposed to S-R-Auto around the selector.  Also, does anyone know if there are right side markings on the L119A1 around the selector, or whether this is blank (unlike US M4s/M16s)

Can anyone tell me what a mil spec Govt. issue M4 / M4A1 Carbine is marked? I have seen pictures with "Colt MFG. CO." as well as "COLT DEFENSE". Colt still shows the "Colt MFG. CO." markings on their webseite, but I guess current markings are Colt Defense.
