Cant believe Im just now finding this thread. Probably because Inhavent been on ARFCOM in at least a year. I returned to buy some parts for this build.

Insearch High and low for pictures if the CMR middy fsp rail and I have only found about three photos. I come in here and someone else is building almost the same rifle I am.

My 14.7 barrel should be here Monday.
This will be wearing a surefire socom series muzzle devise and a Warden.

This will be epic. Love the receiver color scheme.

How do you like that battery powered ACOG? I'm considering one to gain more control over my illumination

I like it a lot. The illumination works extremely well (I have a green horseshoe), and I also like that I can turn it off when needed. The only downside is the added weight. The TA-11 with a AA battery is no lightweight, and easily in the same weight class as many low power variables.

Looks like Photobucket has gone full on gay retard, as they are now trying to charge people for third party image sharing. I told them to fuck off and have given Imgur a try...

Made a few updates to my build: moved the RVG and handstop back a few notches, upgraded my WML and added a Steiner CQBL-1. This build feels complete, for now...

I was about to post the same thing. I'm on the fence and kinda want to do a build like these. Nothing stronger than a pinned fsb I think.

I got my new DD M4A1 FSP RIS II in, but I'm abandoning the Block II build due to budget constraints. She's on the EE now bundled with a new Surefire Four Prong. I am sad.

Does anyone have any experience with the Samson Evo rails?  I'm thinking of putting a free float cutout tube without all of the rails on a 6920.

Not quite... you lack a rear flippy to go with your oh, so prominent fsb! Otherwise, what's the point? Looks great. Stellar job on the rail mod.

I don't like this set up with a 15" rail and FSB but to each his own.

"The hand guard has a suggested retail price of $129.97."

They are out their tree asking that much for a non-floated rail.

How does this pic qualify? Is the plastic hanguard actually floated? I think I've heard of this for competition use.

Yes. From the days when "must retain the outward appearance of the standard service rifle" was more strict.

There's a few manufacturers with slight variations. There's about 0.125" of room around an HBAR.

FF tube.

Didn't rock this setup for very long because I'm weak and thought the rifle was too bulky and heavy.  Wish I had better pics.
