Here's one I got awhile back.  Same uppers were used on the 6320.



And here's a 733 upper with no forge markings at all.

Sounds good.  I'd like for this the remain just genuine Colt parts though, to serve as a reference.

C MP C barrel stamp.  This stamp is on the under side of the barrel (the top and sides are unmarked).

This dates to the brief period from about '68 to '69 when Colt was chroming the chamber, but not the bore (yet).

This was on a government-supplied M16A1 obtained by a police department under the 1033 program (I converted it to semiauto only for the department).

The upper receiver was devoid of the Colt "C" or forge markings, like the 733 upper receiver posted above.  It had the teardrop forward assist and did not have a brass deflector, though.

These proof markings are from my Colt 6520 that I recently purchased. These proof markings are on the upper right side of the ejector port door.
