This thing (with ear pro)

WW 11.5 Heavy barrel, DPMS C7, High Standard Lower F1 lower and a no name CAR stock. Run a H2 buffer and it works just fine.

Updated with moar rounds and BAD lever.

I like that sleeve on your sling. I've tried a few different things and haven't found one I like yet, but that looks really slick.  What is it?

They are indeed completely separate.  DOD Police are GS or GL civilian employees

First post....and I would classify this as a hunting gun now, but once I get the 45 degree iron sights on her she can fall into the truck gun category better.

Just finished it the other day. Will sight in next weekend at the range.

Thanks.  Bear with me on the pics. I'm lazy sitting in my recliner and trying to do this from my wife's iPad that I hate versus the computer....don't feel like getting up right now to use the computer though.

Specs are:
ASA lower
Moe LPK
PSA side charging upper, 16" heavy barrel
Vortex optics

This is my first side charger to use....gonna be interesting to get used to after 20 years in the military.

Here is my favorite rifle. It's my primary home defense and truck gun. It's my Frankenstein's creation from parts centered around a Rainer Ultra Match 14.3 with pinned KX3 PIG. The guts are an aero precision nickle plate BCG housed in a mil-spec upper on a CMMG receiver. Guts are mil-spec and is begging for a gissele trigger. It rests on an LWRC ultra compact stock. Sighting is accomplished via M68 in a larue and the internal and external Troy sights. I also have a zeroed vortex 2.5-10x32 FFP scope clamped in a bobro QD mount for when I have to stretch the legs a bit. I use a surefire scout for light and a VTAC padded sling. I have a bunch of black rifles but this on just feels right and shoots like a dream come true.

Upper:
LMT LM8 MRP 10.5" (it's not cool, but I'm not one of the cool kids)
Gemtech SBC (on the suppressed setting always, because it drops in and it works for this dedicated suppressed gun)
BCM Gunfighter charging handle with a little RTV on it  (best CH for me)
WML on IWC mount  (light weight, but risky due to a chance of it spontaneously self destructing...may replace)
Aimpoint T1 on LT660  (the gold standard in RDS on the gold standard of mounts)
MBUS Pro BUIS (extra weight, should probably remove)
Griffin Armament Spartan 3 (freakin' awesome suppressor)

Lower:
Receiver (is a brand I now dislike but it's SBR'ed and it works, so...)
Larue MBT with heavy spring  (favorite trigger by far)
A5 buffer system (seems to lessen impact of variables on operation, so I like it)
BCM stock (lightweight stock used to get balance of the gun where I want it)
MIAD grip (using the big ass backstrap)

Mags:
Lancer L5AWM (I like my brass scratched up)
30rds of 62gr Fusion (good 'bang' for the buck in defensive ammo)

Blue Force Gear Vickers sling, not pictured.

Try doing a search for "picatinny qd rail adapter". Or here's a suggestion.

Thanks. That is; extended tube part#5024, enhanced cheek rest part#5023B. If I remember correctly the law tactical adds 0.75" as well. It came out to a very nice LOP while its resting on my ummm "cheek". I like the enhanced cheek rest a lot but it is a bit wide when folded though.

My department just got new Colt Commando LE6933, 11.5" SBRs. I dressed mine up in Magpul SL furniture, a Streamlight RM 2, an agency issued EoTech 517 and VTAC sling.

This one. A solid part.
