Does anyone have the SIG Sauer M-400 AR-15 carbine ?  And how is the quality of this current production model ?  Thanks.

I have a 2012 model.
Only issue I have ever had was short stroke issues with lower powered .223 55gr like PMC Bronze and A.E.
It bothered me enough that I drilled the gas port slightly larger and it runs 100% since.
Never had an issue with any weight 5.56 ammo.
During my internet search for anyone else with similar issues I found no one else with the same problem.
Again, it has been 100% since the gas port was drilled.

I just bought 2 used m400 enhanced never fired and since, have only put 100 rounds each downrange and they both seem to be functioning perfectly. I think they will be fine guns with little issue.
What price are you looking at?

Bought a May,2013 model. Replaced their semi auto bolt with a WMD NIB-X  Full Auto BCG. I've shot a couple hundred rounds with some of that suppressed. No issues at all.

I love mine. They have a few more options than other ar-15 models- bolt catch is easier operate due to an extra pad, ambi-mag. release and you can mount a sling right to the lower itself.

Imagine a world where Colt kept the quality of their parts but actually
were innovative with their AR15's........................That's the Sig M400.

I have one, purchased 2-3 years ago. Never had any problem with it. It currently has a Leupold AR Mod-1 scope mounted and its more accurate than I can shoot.

I got a Sig M400 pistol and put a few hundred rounds through it to test function. It ate XM193, some crappy TulAmmo, and some of my handloads flawlessly. Currently waiting for the SBR stamp so I can put a stock on it before I put too many more rounds through it.

As the above poster I bought the pistol version, and have since received my stamp to make an SBR. It's a sweet rifle! Probably about 8K through the gun without a single hiccup. Everytime I've pulled the trigger it's gone bang.

I bought the M400 Enhanced model in 2012 and have never had an issue of any kind. I've upgraded it quite a bit internally and externally. I like them so much I even used it as my screen name!

Sig M400 was my first AR15. I never had any malfunctions except for one major issue hat was the result of some shit TulAmmo (I ended up having to mortar the fucker). It was accurate enough, and made for a great learning experience.
