I vaguely remember a thread long long ago that had a few ar's with wood furniture or a wire frame hand guard. I'd like to keep a collection place for these oddities.

It could be anything from odd color schemes or calibers to unique one off prototype parts. post um if you got um.

This would be nicer with a engine turned HBAR stainless barrel and a handguard that covered the gas block.

I am confused to what the re-routed gas tubes usefulness is?  Unless the other firearms are fired on a closing bolt when it cycles, unsure what would be the point.

Can someone enlighten me?

Seeing as there is only one trigger, I'm guessing that firing the first (with the trigger) causes the second to cycle and fire immediately, which in turn causes the third one to cycle and fire immediately, which finally causes the first one to cycle.  In other words, one trigger pull fires all three in quick succession.  Of course, if the first has an auto sear, then the group would continue to fire in full auto triplets.

Top and bottom receivers appear to have auto sear pins.

The article says it's heavy copper plating. But I also recall someone here making a naval brass lower at some point.
