Looking for any input, good or bad on these?

The modular rail thing on the v7 is

The rest of the rifle is G2G. I recommend the v5, v9, or the new v11.

I've had nothing but great experiences with my v5.

I hear ya, but the float tube is what I want on this one. I have full rails on my LMT and a Colt.

This will be a more streamlined rifle, not even a light. I do agree though that I'm not a fan of attaching the rail pieces here and there.

I think the modular float rail is the way to go. You want to run it smooth its comfortable to hold. want to put tacticooll things on it, you can add them where you want without having un used rail space. Its really the best of both worlds and you dont have the silly looking keymod shelving holes.

DDM4s are like crack, you get one then two.  Next thing you know your giving hand jobs in the back seat of cars for them.  I have V5, V5lw, mk18, and oredered a mk12

DD is awesome. Love my V11. I didn't like the looks of the tube, but if it tickles your fancy, then you'll be happy! That's what really matters.

I went with the v7 because of the rail. I liked the way the it felt. Never planned on hanging a bunch of shit off of it anyway. All it's sporting right now is DD sights. I have some variables and RDS sitting right here beside me, just don't know what I'll go with. I love it , I'm happy,  if I get tired of it I can change it , Get the one you want, it's your money. Good luck.

Gorgeous rifles, fellas. Anyone have the new DD buttstock? I'll be spec'd out as follows:

DDM4V7, Cerakote brown.
Geissele trigger
Aimpoint PRO
Troy battle sights
BCM gunfighter charging handle
Vtac sling

My dream rifle! and don't get me wrong, I LOVE my LMT.

My M4V1 was my first rifle and I have a factory MK18 waiting on a stamp. DD gets my money in the AR industry.

Nothing but quality!  Some aren't a fan of the new DD stock, but it is growing on me.  15er says go for it!

I picked up a v5 earlier this year and couldn't be happier.  I actually liked the stock, although I did swap it out for a sopmod for more cheek weld.  The pistol grip feels good, but if you swap it out you will have to get a trigger guard.  You will not be disappointed.

I hate the new stock. I don't mind the looks of it but I hate shooting it.I just don't like the feel. I do like the new DD grips though. I have 6 ARs and a SCAR 16 and I still normally pull out my DDM4V5 when I head to the range.

I'll Pile on

The Warden loves her DDM4 V3, it is a bit older a 2012 edition.  I did not know of the many different versions and just asked the LGS to get me a Daniel's Defense.  That is what I got a V3 with the 'standard' GI trigger.  I am finally fixing the trigger with a new two stage Ruger trigger.and I am going to use the Ruger grip in place of the A2 that came with the gun.  I am a fan of the new V11 myself.  They make many versions to suit the customer.  Happy to see many quality choices.

Bought a V5 a while back and wasn't sure if I'd like the new stock or not.  Turned out to be a non-issue, after a few trips to the range I like it a lot.  It's different, but good.

I just got a DD (Ambush)  V7.  Ambush has the Giessel trigger and the 18" S/W profile barrel.  Had it out to the range for the first time yesterday.  After 20 or so rounds getting it zeroed took it to the 300 yard range.  Ringing the 6" plate fairly steady.  Very impressed with the accuracy.

For what you're looking for have you considered the Ambush?  It's all you wanted but with an 18" heavier profile barrel.
