My spr/m4 hardly ever gets used.  I need to change that.  I have 2-3 of the spr/m4 brakes and a few of the flash hiders just sitting in the safe.

I had 3x brakes at one point, traded one to ragincajun1919 ? and the other two are just sitting around now.

I think shorter, more compact cans that suppress decently are more appealing to me now than long ones that get a few more decibels of reduction.

Made a couple changes to my lower.  Took the LMT PDW stock off. Recoil isn't conducive for a precision rifle.  Added a tanodized colt RE and full size sopmod.  May change the sopmod again.  Also changed from the seekins ambi safetys that I used to love to BAD.  May throw an MBT in there instead of the CMC as well.

Currently gathering parts for a 6.5 G w/ 12.5 Barrel, after seeing these pics this has solidified my plans for my 12.5 build...so much that I found a New Old Stock AAC SPR/M4 in 6.8! on GB and bought it.

Currently on a Form 3 to my dealer, I have a lot cans and always had hard-on for those SPR/M4s....that’s a sick rifle, can you give a Range Report when you have time?

Nice setup!
The TR21 - any reason for going with that instead of a 24?

I bought the tr21 for an eod build, and fell in love with the eye relief of the tr21. So I put an eotech 552 on the eod clone and put the tr21 on my block 2. I've still considered a tr24 down the line. I had two tr21's for a short while, but sold the other. Glad you like it. Thank you.

thanks for the clarification. So the 21 has better eye relief. Good to know. I'm thinking of a 24 for an upcoming 12" grendel build. May look at the 21 instead.

Check out how far forward I have it mounted. I can flip up my rear sight. The larue lt139 was developed for this optic specifically I believe.  It has an extended cantilever to push the optic even further from the eye.  Fov is huge also. This has become my favorite optic. I've been eyein a few tr24 however since I've never looked through one.  Somethin else to consider, the tr21 has been discontinued, from what I understand, and I had one hell of a time findin this one 2nd hand. It's in great shape too.

Too bad I can't see the front sight. Even on 1.25x setting.
Eta- uses 1" rings instead of 30mm.

No shame in that at all sir.

I sent my 13.7" rock creek w/phantom 7.62 mount off to be re-pinned.  It was wiggly which....well that definitely shouldn't happen on any lowers other than my SBR one, so just to make it more usable it's at D Wilson.

Also have a BA tube getting the 15.1" Ops-contour treatment from Wilson, so once both of those are back I'll drop a few fresh photos.

My original P/W got loose (weld wasn't built up very high and the filing down to fit the YHM collar weakened it; thankfully I had the upper separated from the lower when the MD started wiggling loose) so it went off to D Wilson for the "month of zuck" deal.  Just got this texted, said it should ship tomorrow which means it'll be back in time for range day next weekend.

A 14.5 will work but it won't allow the can to sit flush.  You need a 13.070 barrel to have the can seated and 1/16 off the rail.

I moved it out a smidge because I didn't want to wreck our accuracy and don't want the can right up against the rail.

Don't worry it'll be "short and flush "

Nice rifles.  Here is what the OP put as the rules of the thread...

RIFLES/SBRs ONLY, PLEASE. No Pistols or "PDWs" with braces, etc. You pistol peeps have an entire subforum for that stuff.

14.5" and shorter, free floated, variable mag optic.
