I'm right there with you. I have been thinking about getting the MGI takedown upper, but I think I like this better. Cheaper too.

I'd like to see them play around with different hand guards. Longer one to cover gas block on longer barrels, and an option
to attach rails. I'm sure you could modify it yourself.

My friend had one and promptly sold it. He said the handguard untwists out of place easily when you're shooting.

its an interesting system, the thing that i keep thinking is looks easy to bend a gasstube

Needs some kind of anti-rotation or locking feature. Can imagine firing one off with the locking ring loose.
