Not sure where to post this so if it's in the wrong area, sorry. As I get older I find myself hateing to chase brass, it's not so bad shooting from the bench but standing and moving I end of losing alot so in my quest to keep my .223/5.56 brass I have been looking at brass catcher's and this one caught my eye and yes it's kinda pricey $65 but it get's good reviews, it anyone have a better on the rifle catcher that works well please tell me.

Here is what I'm looking at:

I've got a couple of these.  It works well as long as you have it adjusted properly and don't try to overload the bag.  I run 20 round magazines and by the time the last round comes out of the mag the bag is starting to sag enough that if you were to keep going the brass would stop being caught.  If you overload the bag the brass can miss the bag ending up on the ground and it might bounce back into the action.  I'm sure that those high priced catchers work better but for what I need I don't need to spend the extra money or hang the extra weight on the side of my weapon.

i use this one as well, fairly cheap in price but durable, bad part is it does start to sag so you have to empty it often.

I've had excellent luck with the 3buc. I have adapters for it on 3 guns.

For $10, it's a small inconvenience to have.  Besides, if you're really training, you don't want to be lugging around brass.

I did look into these and they are not very cheap but look extremely well made, I am going to look around some more but so far the 3Bucc has my vote.

I bought a 15 dollar cadwell catcher. Holds 60 rounds before needing to be emptied, works well.  Every once in a while some brass will get hung up causing a FTF on the following round. But for what it is, and what it does, it works well enough for me.  It fits best on traditional plastic hand guards, but it does its job well on quad rails as well.

This company has a bunch too, a little pricey but I have one of the quick detach ones (I hate trying to find brass in the desert) and it has worked very well, no malfunctions, and has saved me a lot of time.  I've only got about 500 rnds with it thus far with a 9mm AR, 3 different AR15's, and a DPMS LR308.

I have the TBR and it does what you want it to do and it does it very well.  It also comes with top of the line customer service.  Well worth the money.  Mark

Go with 3BUCC, you wont regret it. I have several, and many extra adapters. Put it on many different guns with a rail

I'll see all those pictures above and raise them a video!
You can see the 3BUCC brass catcher at work with full auto fire. No bounce backs! Works perfectly.
I have nothing to do with the company other than being a customer.
Thanks!
Mike

Wow.....

70 bucks for a BRASS CATCHER??

Sorry, I'll stick with my free, home-made, inner-tube models...

I have this one and it is awesome, you put the mount anywhere along your top rail then adjust the corresponding piece on the bag forward or backward so it covers the ejection port. On this one the top part is rigid so it won't collapse like the Caldwell that attaches with velcro.

The only problem is I can't yet find more of the mounts to put on my other rifles.

It brought a tear to my eye seeing that in full auto and I see the 3bucc just gobbled up all that brass

I purchased a caldwell one from amazon

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SKCUME/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

same as the one from midway, but if you have prime you get the free shipping. Midway is on sale atm, but I think the shipping pushes it past $12. It's worked well for me.

3bucc is top of the line, but I use a bag by UTG. Picked it up at Cheaper Than Dirt foraround 20. No problems with it at all.  I actually have two and wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
