To stay on point, I don't what the fuck my standard issue mount on my Comp M2 is called, but with the spacer it has, it is absolutely lower 1/3 co-witness with 110 percent certainty. I'm more than happy to be wrong about it, but I have 3, and have got them all setup as absolute with a factory colt 10.3 with F marked FSB. It isn't quite a typical lower 1/3, but I am more inclined to call it that. Either way could be accurate though. While the spacer may or may not give you a perfect one-third "co"witness (I always thought the term lower one-third cowitness was a misnomer since it's not cowitnessed), the purpose of the spacer is to bring the sight up to a (roughly) one-third cowitness on a flat top. We were also issued A.R.M.S. Q/R mounts with spacers which did bring them up to actual/absolute cowitness. |

I only intended on building 3 but are slowing moving up to 7, 2 of which aren't true clones (MOD0 .300 BLK) but I love the MOD0 that much to try it out in that config. Doing a similar experiment with some MOD1's in .300 as well but both sets won't make appearances here, at least not purposely .

That's exactly how I ended up with mine but, instead of the M68, I had the SF 951 weapon light laying around along with the LMT sight. Light placement is due to me being a lefty.

If you guys don't like my cover you can buy me a new one.
The screws did show up. They're the same 3mm's that Stoner sent me. Only threads in half the length of the set screw. We are fairly damn confident the factory ones are 5-40's. I turned some 5-40 cap heads from my extra mount into set screws tho so I'm good for now. Still would like to snag a pair of 5-40's tho. |

I tied some more of my stuff down because I had my dual switch pop off somehow when I was shooting around a barrier when I wedged the rail against it.
Tying still didn't seem to really do much with the switch as the tighter you get it, the more it pulls on the latch. Anyways, I've seen the cardboard fix or whatever, the ergo ladder panel option seemed more permanent.

If you want it it's yours bro. It is machined very well, just don't hold stoner responsible if you decide to use a can. I'll probably never be able to run a can around here.  Warden has a pretty good bit of clearance for an exit hole on 556.
