I'm a little behind - but for whomever asked about using the HALO on a CQBR upper - it's a tight fit on a Block I upper, and pretty much impossible with a Block II upper because of the way the HALO's collar needs to be attached to the muzzle device.
Someone, I'm sure, will be along with a photograph to prove me wrong, but nevertheless, it's not ideal, and in this case, the little variations in fractions of inches, 10.25" v. 10.3" v. 10.5" and the number of washers and/or shims you use can make a difference. ~Augee |

The new models mount to BFA groove, but that is recent (2014 I think), so your point is still valid (as usual). Probably just have to be a violator until I get a SOCOM or NT4. FWIW, the GM and GMT Halo's are very similar in length and weight to the NT4, and a similar concept (HALO fits all NT4 mounts). Just sayin'

I think I just... tripped... fell... and landed on a brand new MK18 RIS II for a stupid low price on EE. This one's getting the Krylon!
