An "operator" buddy who I shoot with from time to time was at a carbine class here in Virginia Beach, and said he knows of a couple bros who use an RMR on their M4's. Have you guys seen anything like this setup ITW, or have an opinion one way or another. I'm thinking about going this route on my latest B1.5 with a KAC FF II RAS with the bridged front rail section.

Seriously though..... Your dept banned them?  I'm assuming over that lawsuit? Or do you regularly get into gunfights at temperatures above 140 degrees for prolonged periods of time? Because if you get into gun fights at temperatures above 140 degrees for prolonged periods of time, I'd be more understanding.
