An "operator" buddy who I shoot with from time to time was at a carbine class here in Virginia Beach, and said he knows of a couple bros who use an RMR on their M4's.  Have you guys seen anything like this setup ITW, or have an opinion one way or another.  I'm thinking about going this route on my latest B1.5 with a KAC FF II RAS with the bridged front rail section.

Can I ask a (probably) dumb question?

What's with the industrial strength rubber bands wrapped around the stocks on a lot of these pics you guys are posting? Is it to secure the stock latch, offer the ability to store something on the stock?

I have been thinking the same.  I really miss my EXPS 3.  If I could find a deal on one, I would probably buy it and sell the MRO.

It's for my CQBR so an M2 won't look right.  Trying to decide on an EXPS 3-1 or a CompM4.  The source I have has the M4S for a few dollars more but I really can't afford it.

If my SU231 was not banned from patrol use I would still be using it. What pricing are you seeing for a Comp M4S?

Duh, cause when it gets placed in direct sunlight, it kersplodes....

Seriously though..... Your dept banned them? I'm assuming over that lawsuit? Or do you regularly get into gunfights at temperatures above 140 degrees for prolonged periods of time? Because if you get into gun fights at temperatures above 140 degrees for prolonged periods of time, I'd be more understanding.

With the Elcan and bipod mounted, and all the other accessories...that's gotta nearly be the heaviest CQBR ever.

Looks totally sick though. Digging the new paint.

Yeah, I figure it's sort of like a mini-recce with the suppressor and bi-pod on there, but then you take them off, and boom, CQBR again.

Although, it is quite a bitch getting that suppressor on and off right now, lol.

Edit, btw, I can make it even heavier, lol. I'll take a pic when I get home.

Yep ELCAN with SOCOM cut-down by ADOC is pretty hefty as well.  I see 6920 cut-downs often and thought about changing, but then I figure it's only 4oz.  But it's a heavy 4 oz. for sure lol...
