10th Special Forces Group is right next door to Colorado Springs so the likelihood of it being stolen government property is pretty high IMO.

WOW the specter prices are nuts. How do you know what one is the right one? I may just go Eotech. Any advice.

Elcan specter DR 1-4 FDE or EOTech EXPS-3-0 FDE or EOTech 553 FDE (SU-231)
Eta- if you can afford the Elcan get that mother fucker. I run EOTech's for the reticle tho. IMO best reticle on the market, and paired with a G-33 magni it's the next best thing to an Elcan |

So asmig and his UHP LA-5, m4socom with his peq15 and 3+ 4 prongs and some of the other clones I was trying to replicate are all done with stolen stuff? I don't think thats true, I think some people are just starting trouble. I know 2 people that have factory sencond 4 prongs and those are legit. Doesn't mean it's stolen or even inappropriately obtained. The stuff *IS* out there, legally, and able to be obtained. But yes, in this instance, SpaceRanger, I think what's being insinuated is that the flash hider on gunbroker being currently discussed likely was appropriated improperly. |

I was just saying due to it's location, and all around sketchy seller practices, there is a good chance that (individual) 4 prong could be gov property as Stevie brought up. I guess he thought that either Stevie or I meant everything is....lol. i'm sure some of us have improperly appropriated knick nacks, but as you know it's good practice to try to avoid buying those, i'm sure you remember the law guns SU-231 scandal. |

It''s just generally poor idea to "call out" the guys for "poor form" who quite obviously have the training and experience to do as they please. If anybody knows what works in real life combat, those guys would. Unless you have training and experience on par with them, or at least something close to it, you should probably avoid doing that. |
