Other than here, M4carbine, armslist, or ebay, can anyone recommend a good classifieds section or exchange community for clone builders?

I'm looking for a used/battleworn Wilcox mount for my comp m2.  Everything I find is new and $100 or more.  I don't need a new one...it's just going to get beat up anyway.  I've found old ads all over the net with them from $40-80.  Can't find one anywhere at the moment in that realm.

So if I'm gonna do a mod 0 or block 1 is my best bet to build the upper? Because it seems that nobody has a single upper in that style in stock.

I really like the L119 CQB style, but since nobody seems to make a 10" barrel the extra cost to cut off .3 or .5 inches seems silly.

2 or 3 years ago stealthguy sent me my other CQD mount, and I started taking supermodel/playboy style pics of it. And it became a thing from there.

You're going to have to build it and most likely have to get a barrel cut.  The only FSB uppers you'll find will have 10.5" barrels and there aren't a lot of factory 10.3" barrels out there either.

If the barrel in the pictures are the ones they are selling they are WAYYY too long to be 10.3.

I'm betting its just a placeholder pic though.

My Colt Ambidextrous Semi-Auto Safety Selector Lever (SKU: SP400831) arrived this week.

Available here. I guess there was a mix-up stemming from Colt sending AU incomplete kits, which resulted in me and many others getting a shipped notification from AU, but the parts not actually shipping 'til almost two weeks later. No biggie. The price was right; I only paid $27.50 shipped, though the price has since increased to $38.00 shipped. It's still much more reasonable than other vendors who sell them, but don't actually have them in stock. Ever.

All this to say: get you some.

Right?

I was going to post here about them having [10.3 barrels] but I was trying to keep a secret to be sure I got one.

I reached out to AU to see if they could get them and they added them to the site; they also didn't inflate the price to G&R levels even after knowing that their only compeition for such barrels sells all they can get.

They are good people. If there's something not listed that you'd like to see from Colt just IM and they will likely add it.

I agree, AU is one of my fav vendors. I've bought a lot of stuff from them over the years. Great pricing on Colt, Surefire, EOTech, and so many other brands + quick order fulfillment and free shipping. What's not to love?

Yeah,
I got caught up in that mess as well and just got like 6 or 7 in.
The short lever's are def an improvement over the old dual full length. While absolutely clone correct, compared to the KAC Ambi's,
the Colt's are ASS.

You don't like the short/long Colt? I've owned 2 now (6920 SOCOM take offs) and like them quite a bit. I'd imagine the detent engagement is probably a lot more fluid on the KAC tho.
