Ol' MILSPEC had the SF4P hookup back in the day. That ship wrecked tho

Since this dude built this upper up too legit to quit I don't even think I'm going to disgrace it or this thread with a pistol lower. I'm prob just gonna shelf it until the move happens then SBR it

Smuggle an Elcan or 2 for me across the border and we got a deal. Lol

Somethings wrong with me tho. I got this whole upper with RIS II coming and I'm more excited to get the BCG than anything. I got some kind of fucked up Colt BCG addiction. I'm blaming it on you assholes tho.

How do you like the RMR and ACOG setup?

I have an 11.5'' that I can't use with my aimpoint due to astigmatism.  I'm thinking of either going 1-4 power scope or an ACOG with RMR.  While the RMR I'm sure will be a blurry mess, it's 50 yards and under so it ain't like it won't work..

The Barrel is 10,3
I have another with a 10,5 i will make pictures to compare

But something is weird, the barrel should end shortly after the bayonet lug. I bought one 10,5 and 10,3 but never measured them. You have good Eyes, Thx !

Did you have it chopped? Cause if so, they straight stole your money. That is definitely still 10.5"

So I feel like I am the biggest fanboy for ACOG/RMR/JPoint combo set ups... I have one on an M4A1 build, Tavor, and about to swap out the Aimpoint on my second MK18 clone for an ACOG w/ JPoint. I feel the height over bore is over blown and the height of the reflex gives you a great heads up shooting position which is all the rage these days.

With a 50 meter zero on the red dot, at 7 yards the hold over is on the top of the crown of the head for center punch head hits, at 15 yards its just a couple of inches high for a hold over, and farther than that it really doesn't matter. Ive used the reflex out to 200 meters for steel hits too.

If you don't want the weight of a 1-4x scope and want the most compact, versatile package on your 10.3 or 14.5 inch gun, look no further than an ACOG with a piggy backed reflex

Also, if you run a QD mount, you can swap optics out and get a good return to zero with your ACOG/RMR in one package, which to me is also a plus.

I wonder if they can get LMT uppers in Poland. How does that work @Macpw? I thought Poland had some pretty draconian laws concerning firearms.

Yes its an LMT upper, but the barrels are Lothar Walther 1/7 match grade built from "Barrel Blanks"

I measured them
The mk18 Mod 0 has a 10,5 and my m4a1 CQBR has even longer almost 11
Need to chop off and replace the Crush Washer for on Peel Washer

It is hard in Poland (Europe) to get  a Weapons License, but when you get one you can have much the same stuff like the US (in Poland). In Poland you can have SBR, or Converted Ex Military MG to Semi. When you have the right Permission you can have Full Autos to.
Only Problem is with ITAR Stuff. KAC Rifles are almost impossible to get. But KAC parts are not big deal. Not so easy like in the US but  you can get them. Colt m4 upper and a2 Lower are rare but Colt rifles are there. Everything cost more.  But you can buy a m16a1 lower for 140 Bucks

For example you can buy in Germany complete weapon kits and Parts, without the Bolt and Barrel. Only the Bolt and Barrel are Parts with Permission the rest is free. you must be only 18 Years Old.
A new Military HK416 cost something like 2300 euros. You can buy Full auto Parts and other Stuff.

Just noticed you said upper. They'd be the same as they always were, I'm sure. "F square" (stands for made for FN by brass/aluminum enterprises)
Or "F keyhole" "F  AF" "F splintered A" etc

Here she is again my CQBR mod? Block?  I still dont quite know all the differences. LOL. I am getting there...  Someday when the NFA times get shorted, I'll get this on a proper Colt lower, In the mean time, It is a proper 10.3" Colt upper/bcg with some of the proper KAC, PRI, and CQB accouterments.  Someday it will have the corncob.  Looking for a OG non QD Sopmod.  Going to put a A1 grip on her as well.  She sure is pretty...  I may even paint her up.  Pics with 20 and 30 rounders

I wouldn't let that disappoint. To be honest with you I prefer the civilian reticle anyways. Wasn't a big fan of my TA01 reticle (which the SU-230 reticle was stolen from at SOCOM request)

IMO all you're really missing out on is a fancy sticker. Lol

@Milspex $100 tops, luckily the top cover threw a spring. Great thing about the 42 is the receiver is a beast. Bad thing is it's $10/second to feed (20rds/sec)

@Carmody lol maybe an Easter shoot is in order?

@ECP Your MG broke too
