Quite to the contrary, I think DD plays the commercial market like a harp. They're using demand for the RIS II rails to sell their expensive uppers and guns, and I don't blame them. It works. $1100-1200 uppers and they sell out like crazy while prices are bottoming out on most other AR related stuff.

The Brownell's stripped uppers are still in stock and I think that's the best way to go anyway. You get a more accurate barrel and the logo is less tacky than the regular commercial markings. If you really want a DD BCG and flash hider you could buy them separately and end up at about the price of a regular MK18 upper.

You're gonna need a bigger pot.

Stripped upper is more my speed price wise as well.

I recently got a DD stripped upper from Brownells. Did you ever check the port with a pin guage?

Not really "Clone" specific BUT does anyone make a head for the Surefire Scoutlight that uses a green or red LED in it? Not one of those heads that HAS a separate green and or red LED from the main one but just green or red and it REALLY fucking bright.

I know you can buy lights like this but I really want to be able to just use my SF Scout and using a filter cuts too might light out.

The FSB is made by Diamico and to the best of my knowledge is not available for purchase. I think the closest you could get it to find one of the Colt 6944 FSBs which come up occasionally in the EE.
