On 14.5" barrels with A2 or A1 flashhiders if you use a split washer or peel washer with a ~.25" jamb nut you get to 16"+ and the flashider does not look rediculously long on the end... Yes i know the A2X is only .25" longer, but still.

Thanks gunnut003 and I agree, I think the A2X looks too long

I think I spun the NT4s one more rotation out than picture to be "Sure" they are over 16"+ but it does not look too bad with 3 peel washers.

How mine is pinned, it's the photo from when I bought it, but it looks similar now after being repinned.

Doesn't look too bad?!?! That looks amazing. Will that still mount the NT4 suppressor?

I'm also interested in the response to this question.  This is something I need to get done, and will be using it with an NT4.  Would prefer to not have to send it off somewhere, but will if needed.

Using peel washers or a proper spacer is what KAC says to use for supressor mounting.  Even though crushwashers are used in the .mil.

For warranty purposes, using peel/ washer/shims/proper spacer is the best.  Per Nefarious Arms (one KAC authorized place to make the spacers to bring the 14.5 + NT4  to 16")  the spacer or stacking peel washers is fine for warranty purposes(something that provides even support all the way around the NT4).

ADCO is also a good place, I would assume.

With that said, I am using peel washers, but still am debating if I should have it pinned or if I should 1000* silver solder it?

PR project in the works.  ACOG normally resides on another rifle, as I'm still deciding on optic for this guy.. prob a 553 in FDE.  Elcan is out of the budget for the time being.  Wish I'd tried the KAC 300m rear sight a long time ago, as it is definitely my favorite (over Troy, Magpul, KAC 200-600m). I want to paint it, but I need to practice on some magazines first.
