Ontario with the OKC-3S, and now, Tri-Technologies with the 06MA8 also produce very good bayonets. From an aesthetic point of view, M9 PHROBIS are the most beautiful. |

I try to embrace the new stuff, but............ Well here's the deal, I've got this friend who let me join his family one deer season. Great guy. His Dad is a WWII vet, and not just some paper pusher if you know what I mean (battle of the bulge survivor). He was old, and still hunted with an iron sighted Winchester lever gun in .32. You really think he's going to go to his grave thinking, damn I wish I had a red dot on my carbine? Now maybe if he was fighting the Germans now he'd take an Aimpoint, I don't know. But all I know is some simple stuff just works. I shot more deer with irons than I did a scope. Not to say I wouldn't have with an RDS, but there were times where the irons worked just fine, and didn't fog up in the process. Anyways....... I'll probably get a tongue lashing for that rant...... |

You guys should pic up the the May 2017 SWAT magazine. Stukas87 article about his SOPMOD Block 1 M4 is a good one. And then I guess he's following it up with a part II about block II's.

Some progress on the block 1 Mk18mod0. Added LMT rear, RAS and M3x. Just need to send to adco for the 10.3 chop and thread and wait 11 months for my stamp to come back . Until then it will wear a shockwave but I do have a nicely used b5 sopmod to go on it when the time comes.
