I've been trying to find a tan color to get my BCM rifle coated in, and I think this thread has convinced me to do patriot brown, it looks like the perfect balance between FDE and dark brown.

Seems there is zero consistency in the color? Thinking of going with patriot brown cerakote but I have no clue what I'm gonna get in the finished product. Looking for a darker brown, (dark chocolate) and flat, not glossy.
Some look like the color I want others are too creamy/tan and glossy looking. . |

The only reason I sold my N6 was because I saw the way the industry was headed with SR25/DPMS pattern aftermarket support and figured I should sell it before it would depreciate more in value. I ended up making a pretty decent amount over what I had into it so, it lessened the sting of having to let it go. Also, I used the funds to get my ultimate dream rifle which is the SR25 and it's still my favorite till this day. |
