Hey, I'm thinking of possibly getting a barrel re-phosphated. Who does the best job? Thanks

I've definitely heard of ADCO but hadn't read any reviews of their service? Is there any downside to re-phosphating? Does ADCO's finish look just like the factory? Will they be able to remove the FSB without causing any damage to the barrel?

An alternative: refinish only the exposed part of the barrel with 'Alumahyde II' (air-dry epoxy coating). Takes a few days to completely cure but is resistant to gun chemicals and reasonably tough. Comes in 'Dark Parkerizing' color and others.

Their work is excellent - second to none. For any upper/barrel job you can't go wrong with the quality of work they provide.
No, thank you. Fifteen is my limit on schnitzengruben.
