You will find that this is a question that really can be answered for you over the internet. It's a hands-on thing that is about the balance between several elements particular to your weapon. Gas port dia Ammunition type BCG weight Action (buffer) spring power Then finally buffer weight Your rig with full power military ammo like LC XM193 or LC M855 might run sweet with an H2 buffer. The minute you feed it cheap, imported, low power ammo it may not cycle. As a shot in the dark, an H buffer with a standard power spring may be the middle ground for you. I have an assortment of buffer weights and like to run the heaviest possible in my rigs. |

BCM http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/H2-Carbine-Buffer-p/buffer%20carbine%20h2.htm I recommend picking up one of these while you're at it (don't use the O-ring) http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Extractor-Spring-Uprade-Kit-p/bcm%20extractor%20spring%20upgrade.htm |

You will probably have pretty good luck with the ones the manufacturer installed when they built the rifle.

Using M193 out of my M&P15 with S/A carrier, carbine buffer, and spring it ran flawless. I also have a BCM F/A carrier with H buffer, and new spring, and it also runs perfect on same ammo.
Edit: What I'm trying to say is the factory parts will be fine using GI ammo. |

a spikes st2 and tubbs spring are working great in my M&P. that being said, the stock pieces also ran 100%. both run all the ammo ive tried flawlessly.

I'd go with a simple H buffer and a carbine spring for a 16".

STD buffer and spring from a reputable supplier will work fine.

We ended up ordering the H2 buffer from bravo company. Do you perhaps know who makes these bufffers? Also is the tungsten powder best or the weights?

BCM sources quality gear. Powder or weights? Its all the same, just less rattle with powder, if you can hear that over the sound of a gun being fired. ![]() |
