Sorry I did not make it clear on my last post...

Have anyone shoot 300 AAC blackout with your M4 / AR15 lower with the 300 BLK barrel as upper.

I have a couple of friends that own and shoot 300blk with their standard .223/5.56 lowers and haven't had any issues..

The only difference is a barrel change between the two. No reason for issues. I run 300, 5.56, and 5.45 just swapping uppers and mags.

Yes. In fact my 9.5" 300BLK upper functions quite well on my SBR lower.

literally the only difference is the barrel.

Why wouldnt it work?

Yes, I do all the time. There are no problems doing this.

I'll go you one further....I shoot my .300 blackout on the same lower as my .22LR upper!



Whether or not they have a caliber marked on them, lowers are not caliber specific.

All 300BLK is is a necked up 556... nothing really changes except for the barrel. 300BLK brass starts life as 556 brass
