THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Took my RRA Elite Op 2 out for the first time yesterday. DAMN it's loud! My brothers could hardly stand to be in the lane next to me with the muzzle break directing everything out the side!

Overall I LOVE the gun!

2 questions:

1) What would be a decent inexpensive (read $100 or less) muzzle break that would make the gun a little more "range friendly?"

2) Are there any scopes (Red dot, ACOG, or other) that are decent in the same $100ish range? I know that I'm not going to get anything special in that price range, but are there any good bang-for-your-buck items out there?

Next time I go shooting, I'll have to take a few pics..

I had a Vortex Strikefire red-dot on an older rifle. Its a bit over $100 but it was worth the extra few bucks.

Palmetto has the Vortex Strikefire on sale for $120, use coupon code strike.

That's probably the best you'll do in a NIB red dot for around $100

Take a look at Primary Arms red dots also. I like the ones I have and may pick up a micro in the future.

You could opt for an A2 flash hider and use the saved money on your red dot budget.

I have the same model and it is loud. I am going with the sightmark 14003 and a 3x magnifier behind it.

this, I've been very happy with my M3 clone, over a thousand round through my rifle with the M3 clone on it and it's held up great.

This is what I would do! $8 flash hider and then you have almost $200 for an optic.

If you want it to be range friendly, then do NOT get anything that is a brake. You want a flash hider. I would just go with an A2, but ifI absolutely wanted something fancy on there, then I would either get a Smith Vortex or an AAC Blackout (non-mount). Both are around $50 new.

Get an A2 flash hider and a Vortex SPARC

Or for about the same money a Vortex flash hider and a Primary Arms red dot.

Either will work.

I like that idea. It looks like you can pick up an A2 flash hider for pretty cheap as well..

Would something like this DPMS one work ok on my rifle? A2 Flash Hider from Midway

Ooooooo, your gun's too loud.......... buy some freakin' ear plugs!!! Or take up fishing.

If you want a 'tube' type red dot, the Tasco Pro Points work well. So do the Millett, Bushnell, etc. and they are all around the $100.00 mark.

Yes, the DPMS A2 flash hider will work for your gun. I say get the A2 and the Primary Arms Micro and spend the rest on ammo.

In general, muzzle brakes are pretty loud. I have a Spikes DynaComp on one of mine, but have only put a few rounds through it so far. It doesn't seem as loud as most other brakes, but again, I only have a few rounds through it at this point. They're less than $100, so it might be worth looking into. It feels like I'm shooting an air gun with that comp. It's so soft.
Do you take vitamins?
Is there Vitamin C in Newports?
No, but you can't get a snitch shanked for a dozen oranges no matter how hard you try.

I've seen those.

Do they have any compensating abilities, or do they just focus the blast downrange?

Battlecomps will do the best at minimizing blast with good recoil reduction and compensation.

This for us as well, we have three of the P.A. and the TRS 25, and for range work they all work fine...
